CloudPages Directory operates local business directory websites at cloudpages.directory and its city/county subdomains (the “Directory,” “we,” “us”), operated by The Quiet Staff (McDuck Holdings, LLC). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how text-message (SMS) consent works. It applies to every directory in the CloudPages Directory network.
Information we collect
- Business listing information — public details about local businesses (name, category, address, phone, website, hours, ratings). Some of this is sourced from Google and refreshed periodically.
- Inquiry / quote requests — when you contact a business through a listing, the name, phone number, email, and message you submit.
- Basic usage data — standard web logs (e.g., pages viewed) used to operate and secure the site.
How we use information
- To display the directory and connect you with local businesses.
- To deliver your inquiry to the business you contacted so they can follow up.
- To send you a confirmation text message about your request, only if you opt in on the form (see below).
- To operate, secure, and improve the Directory.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you submit a quote request on a business listing, you may check an optional box to receive a text reply about that request. Checking the box is your consent to receive an SMS confirmation, sent on behalf of the business you contacted.
- Message frequency: low — typically one confirmation message per request you submit.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to messages you send or receive.
- Opt out anytime: reply STOP to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared for marketing purposes.
How we share information
When you submit an inquiry, we share the details you provide with the business you contacted so they can respond, and with our affiliated agency to help fulfill the request. We use service providers (for example, email and SMS delivery) solely to operate these features. We do not sell your personal information, and — as stated above — we never share mobile opt-in data for third-party marketing.
Your choices
You can opt out of texts by replying STOP. To request access to or deletion of information you submitted, contact us using the details below.
